At Rivrs, we build and operate Minecraft multiplayer servers played by hundreds of thousands of players worldwide. We’re a small, fast-moving team obsessed with Minecraft, player growth, and creating content people actually want to watch.
We’re looking for a Minecraft Short-Form Content Creator to own our organic content strategy across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
This isn’t a traditional social media role. You won’t be posting generic Minecraft clips and hoping they perform.
You’ll be responsible for finding ideas, creating videos, analyzing performance, and constantly figuring out what makes Minecraft players stop scrolling — with one ultimate goal: turning viewers into real players on our servers.
Content creation
• Create high-volume short-form videos (15–60s) for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
• Turn Minecraft gameplay, server features, player moments, challenges, updates, and trends into highly engaging content.
• Write strong hooks, concepts, scripts, and captions that feel native to Minecraft communities — never like ads.
• Edit raw Minecraft footage into fast-paced, entertaining videos optimized for retention and replayability.
• Stay constantly plugged into Minecraft culture, trends, creators, memes, and formats — and know how to adapt them before they become saturated.
• Develop repeatable content formats and series that can consistently generate views and player interest.
Performance & growth
• Treat every video as an experiment: publish, analyze, learn, and iterate.
• Track key metrics such as views, watch time, retention, engagement, CTR, and player acquisition.
• Identify why certain videos work and turn winning concepts into repeatable formats.
• Quickly kill ideas that don’t perform and double down on concepts that do.
• Continuously improve hooks, pacing, editing, storytelling, thumbnails, titles, and calls to action.
• Optimize the entire content pipeline so we can produce more content without sacrificing quality.
